I love celebrating Christmas. I know that it can be a very difficult time for some people, but I love it. I like following family traditions and starting new ones. I like choosing and buying presents, making things and decorating the house. But I also have a busy and sometimes complicated life, so celebrating the way I like to does take some organising.

I'm sure I'm not the only one in this situation, so last year my mother and I decided to write a book - and now we've started it. This blog will follow the track of the book and some of the steps and strands it will develop as we Countdown to Christmas ...
